About this church
There has been a church on this site since Saxon times. The oldest surviving parts date from 1185, the Lady Chapel, but most of the church was built in the 15th century. St Mary Redcliffe is a treasure of international importance. A masterpiece of Gothic architecture – soaring walls, crowned with a ceiling of glittering gilded roof bosses of exquisite beauty, flooded with light from the vast clerestory and stained glass windows.
About the choir
Boys, Girls and Men. The 20 boys and 26 girls come from a wide variety of schools, state and independent.
