St Caron’s Patronal Festival Evensong drew a remarkable increase in attendance, with the regular congregation of twelve rising to seventy-four, plus choir and clergy, including the Archdeacon of Cardigan. The retired vicar, who had served the parish for twenty-four years, preached on the church’s deep historical roots and its early role in the spread of Christianity in Wales.

The choir sang and chanted with clarity and confidence, and many in the congregation found themselves remembering the responses, adding to the sense of shared worship. Sunshine through the stained glass heightened the atmosphere of the service.

A well attended reception followed, marked by plentiful food and a joyful tone. The parish expressed warm thanks for the grant that helped make this uplifting Patronal celebration possible.
