About this church

The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, better known as Brompton Oratory, is home to the Congregation of the Oratory of St Philip Neri in London, a community of priests living under the rule of life established by its founder in the sixteenth century. The Oratory also serves as a parish church in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Westminster.

About the choir

There are three choirs which sing at Brompton Oratory:

The Oratory Choir, the UK’s senior professional Catholic church choir, sings the 11am Mass on Sundays and Vespers at 3.30pm on Sundays, and for all the major Latin liturgies at the Oratory. An adult professional choir, it comprises some of London’s leading ensemble singers, and is internationally renowned.

The London Oratory Junior Choir, for boys and girls aged 8-16, sings the 10am Mass on Sundays and Benediction at 6.30pm on Tuesdays.

The Schola Cantorum of The London Oratory School, a boys' choir (ages 8-18) sings the 6pm Mass on Saturdays during termtime.

Parents of children interested in joining the choir are encouraged to contact the choir’s Director Charles Cole.  (Email:  oratoryjuniorchoir@gmail.com)
