The oldest parts of the church date back to around 1050, and it was expanded in Tudor times. It is situated in the centre of the village, off a roundabout featuring the only listed duck-pond in Britain, and very close to the remains of the Archbishop's Palace once occupied by Cranmer and then by Henry VIII.
The choir is a robed choir of around 20 adults, which each month sings 2 communion services and one Morning Worship, and 2 evensongs. We always sing an introit and anthem at evensong, and every few months have Choral Evensong including settings of canticles and responses.
